The Deen e Ilahi, propounded by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1582, was indeed opposed by Shaykh Ahmad Sirhindi (1564 – 1624), also known as Mujaddid Alf Sani. Sirhindi was a member of the Naqshbandi Sufi order.
